Elephants Need More Choices!

Help me give my students some more seating options! my students need Kore adjustable wobble stools so they can sit at tables with different heights.

My Students

My students come to school energetic and ready to learn every day! Our class is made up of students from a wide range of backgrounds and varying learning abilities. Our community was rocked by Hurricane Harvey last year, school is an escape for some students.

Our class motto is: Don't Forget To Be Awesome!

The one thing all of my students enjoy is learning in an active environment. Sitting in a hard and uncomfortable chair all day is tough for adults, imagine how 4th graders feel. I would like the opportunity to offer my students flexible seating options that will allow them more options for comfort and engagement!

My Project

I have seen a HUGE difference in the level of engagement in my students since I started flexible seating! Students are able to get their wiggles out and still stay focused on their work.

While my standing desk is always a popular choice, I find that my scholars get tired throughout the day and usually end up siting on the floor under the table.

I would love to give them the option to sit or stand with a stool that will accommodate the higher table.

The yoga balls we use are a little small and have been deflating quickly. New larger ones weighted with sand will really help us focus and avoid the distraction of reinflating them every other day.
