Elements Make The World Go Round

My students need a periodic table to reference during laboratory sessions. One mistaken reading could lead to disastrous outcomes. By having this , students will be able to access the periodic table at all times.

My Students

The students here at Lighthouse East are extremely inquisitive and enjoy learning through experiences. Scholars here thrive on an education integrated in collaboration, experimentation, and creativity. Through there education, students hope to be able to begin to solve complex real-world challenges.

For this reason, the scholars at Lighthouse East strive to gain a holistic and well-rounded education.

Giving students the ability to drive their education is key to their development and is my hope in the classroom. The FOCUS is for ALL students to receive and excellent education.

My Project

Having a classroom sized periodic table will give students access to the most important tool in chemistry at all times. The sum of all chemistry concepts must encompass the periodic table. Having access to this vital tool will allow for implementation of experiments in my classroom with a reference material that is highly needed.

Knowledge of the elements makes the world go round.

With ideas of how an element is on its own and how it interacts with other elements allows students to have an understanding of all the chemical processes that make up everything in the world around us.
