My Students
Our school has about 240 students who study from 3K to 5th grade. Most of them are African American and Hispanic children. Most of them come from low-income families.
They are nice and respectful when they interact with other people.
They smile at people when they meet people in the morning. Some of them are struggling in math and English, but they work very hard to overcome the challenges. It is my pleasure to be their teacher in the school this year.
My Project
It is a very challenging school year. Many students participate in fully remote learning. We need to help them keep learning and stay positive at home during this COVID-19 pandemic. They need twenty-seven sets of different math learning kits. They love hands-on learning. They would use the kits to practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. At the same time, they would develop their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. We can't let COVID-19 stop our students' learning. Please help them get the twenty-seven sets of math learning kits for distance learning. Thank you.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
