My Project

Please help support my school's elementary library with flexible seating and resources for creative play. This style of environment will be a treat for my students. They won't want to go home! We are an "underprivileged" school and would love and appreciate this opportunity.

Most seating in our room is typically the standard hard metal school chairs and this doesn't allow much for relaxing and diving into a book.

With restless legs and irritability, our students tend to get unfocused. Also, using this rug, blankets, futon, and mood lights for our new seating/reading area will help with social-emotional bonds. Plus having a few extra building blocks etc. could never hurt in our maker space area.
