My Project

I hope to acquire this 3D printer bundle, with the aim of enriching the educational experience of our students and equipping them with valuable skills for the future. Students will use the design process to first imagine possible solutions, research possible solutions, plan solutions, create solutions, test solutions and finally see if the solution can be improved. This will be accomplished by focusing on our standards-based curriculum. These printers will allow students to create actual working items which we can test and then improve upon. This will help to complete the design process steps.

The goal for this project will allow for low-income students to use a technology that they would not see until High School or College.

By introducing this technology to students in Elementary School we are providing them a chance to see the possibilities ahead of them.

Our students are hard working and deserving of seeing all of the possibilities out there for them. They should not be limited based on the economics of their parents. I would like them to see what the future can hold if they are provided similar opportunities as others.
