This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Most of my students live in a low socioeconomic environment. Many of them speak English as a second language. All of them enjoy coming to school. To help our classroom continue to run smoothly, we need a few items to keep us going.

AA batteries and C batteries will help keep our electronic toys like the bubble machine and the toy vacuum working and keeping play fun and engaging.

The handheld vacuum will come in handy since we play with little sensory materials such as rice which get stuck in places that the custodian doesn't clean for us. A clean classroom is much more inviting to be in.

I'm also asking for 4 dinosaur egg timers to help the children be able to manage the amount of time they are at a center. I can set a timer on my phone, but it we are trying to mange time at the light table AND the sand table AND a popular game, then we need more ways for the children to be able to keep track of time spent there and let others be able to have fun too.
