Electronic Writing Tablets For Disabled Students

My students need these writing tablets to help develop their writing skills, even when facing adversity of having physical limitations.

This project is fully funded

I teach grades 7-12 in the only public school located inside of a children's hospital in the United States. All of my students require extensive rehabilitation therapies due to various illnesses and disabilities.

Some of the students in my class have limited graphomotor capabilities. I would like my students to be able to write stories, papers, and any other assignments that they wish to write without struggling with a paper and pencil.

The writing tablets would afford many students to be able to begin writing and have their writing transferred onto the tablet. The tablet would help with recognition of what they are writing, their spelling, punctuation, and grammar, and allow the students to feel more independent.

Your help will ensure that my students have the opportunity to be able to write independently, feel as though they are being successful on their own, and most importantly, gain the confidence that they are and can be proficient writers.
