This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are proud to have a Modern Band program, our students learn the songs they love on the instruments we hear all around us; drums, guitar, bass, keys, and vocals! However with our small music room, when we play "real" drums it gets very loud! We want to save our ears but still rock out! With electric drum kits we can set the volume where we want it and also use headphones for silent practice. Then we can make sure we have solid beats for our Spring Fling shows!! Two of these kits allows our teacher to play along with a student and/or a student to teach and play along with another student. When headphones are used, these drums will open up more practice opportunities. Will you help us?
