This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is a very cool opportunity to support a very niche group of students. These students have learning disabilities and are out in an environment to learn grade-appropriate science at a slowed pace. However, we were not given many of the materials to make that experience as fun as it could be because we only have a textbook. So with your help, we can bring some of the things mentioned in the book to life with some hands-on activities, which are the type of activities that leave the biggest impression on these students and help them retain as much as possible.
