Electromagnetic Supplies Are Needed In The Science Room

My students need batteries,magnets,flashlight bulbs, and fahnstock clips to observe, explore, electromagnets and configure series and parallel circuits.

My Students

Excited students observing their classmates create a series circuit or just as excited students discovering which material sticks to their magnet. Come to my Science class, it can get noisy sometimes.

My school is located in New York.

My students come from varied backgrounds and cultures. Some of them are English Language Learners who are eligible for free lunch. In spite of their cultural differences they come together in the science room to learn and watch their classmates solve problems, create configurations of circuits, and put together electromagnets. Just an opportunity to compete with this new 21st century technological age is all they demand from our school. I have exhausted my school spending allowance, therefore I am asking that you "Be the change you want to see in this world" Mahatma Gandhi and become a part of that village to help raise a child.

My Project

The students will excitedly put together their wires, nails, and batteries expecting to pick up an object made of metal, or they will put a battery in a battery holder connected with wires and fahnstock clips to the light bulb holder waiting for the light to shine, then you will hear it lights, yelled out,from one of the students in the group of four students around the table. Fourth Grade is when students begin to take examinations on specific science concepts in the curriculum one of them is what kinds of materials will allow energy to flow to complete a circuit and light a bulb. My students are learning what materials will allow the energy from the battery to move through the wires to light up the flashlight bulb. They will learn to construct and diagram an electrical circuit and create an electromagnet using the wires, nails and a battery.

With your generosity, my students will be able to construct series and parallel circuits.

They will be able to learn and pass their examinations. They will be able to move on to the fifth grade. As I referred to this quote before " It Takes a Village To Raise A Child"so please become a part of my students' village and allow them the opportunity to learn to work together on their road to their dreams, and success stories.
