Electrochemistry is a fascinating unit in AP Chemistry. However, students often have trouble imagining how electrons flow. These materials will allow students to see for themselves how this works. The mini demonstration kits will let students observe the electrolysis of metal and water, helping them understand how an electrolytic cell works.
These demonstration kits will capture students' interest and motivation when introducing electrochemistry to them.
Students can use the concepts they have learned to build galvanic and electrolytic electrochemical cells. My students love hands-on labs, as they help them connect theoretical knowledge to authentic activities that make their learning more concrete.
