My Students

My students enter each year with a love of learning and a desire to do their best. To do this, they need the materials and the skills to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

The expert in anything was once a beginner.

My students are always eager to learn and be engaged both in and out of the classroom setting. To facilitate that love of learning, we need to make sure as teachers that they are continually exposed to materials that can foster their learning and growth in all areas.

My Project

Many science concepts are difficult for students to fully comprehend when only reading about them. Students in the classroom need hands on learning opportunities to create concrete understanding of these abstract concepts. Electricity is one of these topics that is difficult for students to understand strictly through studying diagrams and reading about what they are seeing.

With Snap Circuits Discovery Kits students will be able to take an abstract idea of electricity, currents, switches, conductors, and insulators and bring these concepts into a hands on learning environment.

With these circuit kids students will work together to create complex circuits, understand the individual pieces that make up a circuit, and how they all work together.
