My Students
The jazz program at the middle school is growing, but we are using some very old equipment. We have a nice amp but the keyboards plugged into this great amp are ancient. Both are ready to be retired.
I work with a great bunch of students who work extremely hard at their music.
We have a large music program. We have been growing consistently for the past couple of years. The issue with a growing music program is that we are always in need of more equipment. We are a public middle school. We are using donors choose to help us continue the great success in our music program.
My Project
We are asking for two stage pianos. These will be used for all the jazz band rehearsals and jazz band concerts. Along with the stage pianos we are asking for two cases for those pianos. The longevity of the equipment is my number one concern because I want these great gifts to be used by students for years to come.
My students and I are extremely lucky to have a supportive community and school that values the arts.
I want to see the students at the school have every opportunity to succeed and to have the right tools and equipment to succeed. This will be a big step forward for our jazz band.
