Help me give my students tools to see and work on electric circuits in practical applications
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Salceda's classroom raised $775
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The project will consist of tools to bend and strip wires and batteries to power the electronics. Arduino kits that the students will use to learn about electricity and how it flows as well as some basic programming for various sensors. I have included enough kits so that students can work individually. I have also included outlets and housing for them so that I can show students how circuits work in a home and I will give them the opportunity to test out how to correctly wire items.
Students will use all of these resources to better understand the flow of electricity and the various ways that it can be used.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
