Help me give my students the best eLearning experience to providing meaningful feedback to students who do not have Wi-Fi. Ink will allow me to print assignments to make-corrections and assist students.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra I honors. According to the 2017-2018 SC state report card, the poverty rate at my school is 73.8%, but the attendance rate is 93.2%. This means my students come to school every day ready to learn and take advantage of their educational opportunities.
My students appreciate that I work tirelessly to make learning math easier and less intimidating!
I provide all of my students with the daily materials they need to take notes and to create their interactive notebooks. The goal is for each student to know and believe they are "math people."
My Project
I want all students to get the best eLearning experience possible. I have students who do not have Wi-Fi and have to complete their work on paper. Then, they email it to me when once they can safely get to a Wi-Fi access point. It is difficult to mark their work in math in order to give meaningful feedback without showing details and providing written explanations.
Ink it relatively available at work but not while working from home.
I need to print rosters to track student progress and keep documentation for my students with accommodations. Having ink will help with improving the eLearning experience.
