My Students

My students are dedicated learners. It is a diverse group and they enjoy work in groups. Labs and lab activities are highly appreciated. Learning with hands-on activities to visualize complicated concept is a very helpful approach.

Majority of the students are very motivated to learn and ready for a challenge.

They choose to be in the rigorous class and put a lot of effort to succeed. They are always looking for the ways to understand the material rather than memorize facts. It is truly amazing group of students.

My Project

Physics concepts may be very challenging. It is extremely helpful to have opportunity to do hands-on activities to visualize how things work. Elastic energy and connection between restoring force and displacement is important in physics.

Performing Hooke's Law labs students will deepen their understanding and enhance critical thinking.

Springs will demonstrate not just the concept of restoring force but also the concept of equilibrium. The elastic energy connection will be used in mechanics and waves sections. The spring also can be used in the experiment of finding gravitational acceleration. There are many useful applications and the knowledge the students gain will prepare them for more complicated concepts in the future.
