My students are fun, energetic, creative, and eager to learn! They come from different ethnic backgrounds and vary in almost every way, yet they are all eager to learn and to participate in their education. These students are willing to take risks and learn from their mistakes so that they can progress in their educational goals.
While all of my students are eager to learn, they learn in different ways.
Whenever I create a lesson, I try to encompass an auditory, visual, and kinesthetic component to the lesson so that I can reach as many learning styles as possible. Having additional resources helps me reach more students and create productive learning environments.
My Project
Elapsed time is a difficult concept for many students. I believe that these resources will make a challenging concept easier. The write and wipe boards will give them hands on practice.
Providing clocks for students to manipulate makes a difficult concept, like elapsed time, much easier for students to learn.
They will not be learning this concept from worksheets alone, but by moving and manipulating concepts. I believe this will give them tangible, hands-on understanding of what is happening and how to determine how much time has passed. I appreciate your help and support!
