My Project

These creative supplies and classroom tools and manipulatives are greatly needed and desired to help make ELA class more immersive and fun, and helping to increase student engagement. The Squishmallows are manipulatives, and the magnetic pieces are to assist in learning and both class, individual, and paired participation.

My students thrive in creative, fluid environments that allow them to move around the room and get involved in pair and group work.

ELA is often a difficult class for students because of its "grayness", that is, the subject is not black and white like some other subjects are. Critical thinking and making connections are essential in ELA.
