This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

This project would be beneficial to my students because it will help them practice their phonics and comprehension skills to become fluent readers. My goal is to get my students even more engaged in our centers. I have created centers in the past and it would be easier on me (and my ink) to have these games on hand to provide for the students! Not only that, but students may also see these games as incentives and appreciate the centers even more. Seeing that our centers are gamer oriented rather than pencil and paper, students may work even harder to get correct sounds or create correct sentences that can help them in the future as they advance to the next grade level.
