Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
With three English I classes and one AP Seminar, notebooks, folders, and dictionaries are the very basics to help these students succeed! Many students use one notebook for every subject and they're constantly losing their worksheets and readings. Every day students take notes, work on their bell ringers, and annotate texts.
With your help, students will be able to come prepared to class and focus on doing well, instead of looking for their supplies.
They will know that everything they need will always be in the classroom waiting for them.
With the crates and hanging folders, students can keep their folders and notebooks organized. The highlighters will be used to annotate readings, and the dictionaries will be used by students to double check their vocabulary after using learning strategies to create their own technical and connotative definitions of new words. The headphones are a great tool for individuals to watch and take notes of class videos at their own pace without worrying about disturbing their classmates.
