Our close-knit, Title I school is located in a beautiful country setting. The students are energetic, curious, and work hard. The parents are positive and the community is a great resource of support.
The students come to school each day to learn so that they can be positive and helping participants in society.
The students work together to support one another both in the school and outside of the school day. Whenever a need arises in the community, our students are always there to lend a helping hand. Therefore, when we can help to pay it forward to the students, we jump at the opportunity.
My Project
The frog cutouts will be used to decorate the room to prepare for the unit on frogs. Students will use the frog finger puppets to point to words as they are reading to make it a little bit more fun. The stress frog toy will be at each students desk for them to use if they need to de-stress or hold it up to ask for help while completing work independently. At the end of the unit students will use the model magic clay to create their own frog to hold as they share with the class something they learned during the unit.
Hands-on items help to keep learning fun, interesting and students engaged.
The water bottles will be used by the students for daily drinks as they can not drink from the fountains. In the next unit the students will be using tools to create items. We are hoping to have them create a holder for their water bottle. This year let's give the students something to smile about while learning. These items should do just that. Thank you.
