This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I will be a first-year teacher with over one hundred th grade math students. Our school has recently merged with another school, which brings about lots of change and anticipation for our students to process. They are very deserving of the stability that everyday resources will provide.
My Project
These materials will be used daily during classroom instruction. After a very difficult year of learning, I'd like to help my students feel prepared for class each day by having all of the necessary tools to succeed in math.
These materials will both help in classroom organization, as well as serve as a resource pool for students to use.
Having access to things like pencils, markers, and rulers will provide equitable opportunities in the classroom. These basics will help me to get my classroom up and running as soon as the school year begins.
