I am requesting funding for supplies to facilitate an engaging educational project at the sixth-grade level, in an elementary school committed to providing exceptional learning experiences to its students. The purpose of this grant is to acquire materials and resources necessary for the creation of Egyptian masks, which will enhance students' understanding of ancient Egyptian culture, history, and art.
The Egyptian Mask Making Project is an interdisciplinary initiative designed to integrate social studies, art, and hands-on learning.
Through this project, our sixth-grade students will delve into the captivating world of ancient Egypt, exploring its rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions. By researching, designing, and constructing Egyptian masks, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the artistry and symbolism embedded in Egyptian artifacts while developing crucial creative and critical thinking skills.
