My students have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. They have had a mixture of face-to-face and online learning. This has placed many of the students behind in many different areas of their academic learning, especially in math and science. In addition, this has placed a strain on their social and emotional health. Students in my classroom need basic learning materials to be able to continue to grow both socially and academically. This project will help students to get back on track with their learning, both academically and emotionally. This project has educational games (like legos, fractions, math bingo, etc) to help with social well-being while helping students to increase their academic knowledge. In addition, there are anxiety reducing fidgets and stress balls to help students be able to self-regulate in a COVID related anxious world. Finally, there is basic classroom supplies like pencils, glue, sticky notes, sharpies, timers, and erasers to help students continue to make academic progress that has been impacted by the pandemic.
