Imagine walking into school and the last time you ate was yesterday's school lunch or your only meal for the weekend is the bag of food you received from the school's food closet. Maybe you are in a classroom where the teacher and classmates do not speak the same language as you. You may even have come to school with no supplies or clothing that fits. These and many other obstacles are the reality that the students I teach face every day. My classroom is not only a safe and positive learning environment, but also a place where I do my best to make sure my students needs are met.
Help my 1st graders experience and witness AMAZING science life cycles by allowing them a hands on opportunities to explore and inquire about chickens and butterflies!
An incubator will greatly enhance their experience of learning all the factors on how bird eggs develop and hatch.
It will make this special experience come to life! This incubator has a highly visible design that will allow my students to easily observe the chicks when they hatch!
The butterfly kit would give my students the opportunity to observe the life cycle of Monarch Butterflies. The kids will also enjoy setting them free to live out their best life near our school.
