Help me give my students the opportunity to witness live chicks hatching in our classroom!

My Project

Last year, we successfully hatched 12 chicks with our students, thanks to generous donations. This project was a major hit, earning our classroom the nickname "the one with the chickens!" The program not only benefitted our class but also allowed us to share the joy with other classes. This year, our students are excited to hatch their own chickens, so we are aiming to replicate last year's success by obtaining the necessary materials. To expand our chick hatching program, we plan to purchase a brooder box to nurture the chicks into juvenile chickens in a warm and secure classroom. Felt wall tiles will be used to display our projects. Additionally, we are in need of chick food, a feeder, and a water station. Once the chicks are grown, they will be transferred to a farm. The valuable lessons learned from last year's chicken hatching project have motivated us to continue this program.
