My Students

I am a Kindergarten teacher in a small Title I school in North Texas. The majority of our students receive free lunches. They come from diverse homes and family dynamics. Some of my students have faced many hardships in their young lives. No matter where they come from, they have the potential to do it all.

My students are future artists, writers, scientists, teachers, leaders, and so much more.

They will be anything they put their minds too.

My students are full of energy and excitement. They strive to do their best every day. I strive to give them as many opportunities to learn as possible each day.

My Project

Most of my students do not get to experience things outside of their homes. What better way to give my students an experience about science and life cycles than embryology in the classroom.

I would love for my students to get a close up look of life cycles in the classroom.

It would be an up close experience to hatch chicks in the classroom.

This would be an awesome real life experience for them! My kindergarten students are so full of curiosity and they would be so excited to hatch chicks in our classroom.
