My Students

My students are ready and eager to learn. They especially LOVE science. It's extremely fulfilling to see them passionate about learning and discovering something new. We have a wide range when it comes to reading and math levels.

When I come across an activity that allows ALL students to shine, I grab it!

Science puts students on a more level playing field. When working through an experiment or observing, it's not obvious who is the low reader. I love giving students confidence in school. Unfortunately they may not feel it during other classes such as reading, math, or writing.

My Project

Hatching animals literally brings science to life! Students will study the developing stages of ducks and chicks during their incubation period. Not only will this be an amazing lesson on the growth and development of chickens and ducks, it also teaches responsibility and accountability.

My visual learners are in for a treat with the see through lid on the incubator!

The LED Egg Candler is an amazing accessory to the incubator. Students can actually see the chicken during various stages of development. This is so much better than looking at pictures in a book! Activities like this make school not only educational, but fun. Every type of learner can benefit from this hatching center.
