This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My previous DonorsChoose laptop has been working hard for 2 years. However, it's starting to lag a bit and I think it has a memory issue. I have to restart it multiple times each day. Each year, education and learning integrate more and more technology and, frankly, I need to keep up!
A new, more powerful laptop would allow me to efficiently and effectively monitor, assign, and grade my students' work.
The students are required to use learning apps, such as i-Ready, on their Chromebooks. I need to assign them grade level work, as well as individual work to help them with any learning they missed during the Covid years. I also assign them other online tools (Gimkit and SeeSaw) for additional learning opportunities.
