This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Though we face challenges today, I am nonetheless endeavoring to create rich, meaningful learning experiences for our children. I want to ensure that our students of all backgrounds are able to access our curriculum and cultivate their learning skills.
My 4th graders are filled with unique brilliance.
They are each unique individuals who are enthusiastic about learning. Many love to build, play with their peers, and challenge themselves. These children are capable of empathy, wonderful creativity, and critical thinking.
My Project
These unique times pose unique challenges. Nevertheless, we are all committed to finding solutions to the obstacles we face. I am determined to take action so that my students are learning and not falling behind as we all fear.
With so much at stake, my goal is to ensure our students have the support and enrichment to be successful.
While I am teaching remotely, I still want to deliver meaningful and engaging instruction. The drawing tablet in this project will provide me with the opportunity to digitally model key content for my students. I can show my 4th graders all of the ways to multiply 2 digit numbers or edit their writing with ease and clarity. Modeling is core to teaching, so I hope to effectively bring this practice to my virtual lessons.
Our project seeks to provide our students with an enchanting science experience. We will investigate the life of the butterfly with the butterfly nursery. Kids will be eager to track the gradual process and gain valuable skills along the way. Let's guarantee that our students are able to have those memorable learning experiences that they would normally get in the classroom.
