Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students can benefit from social media by using their voices positively and constructively. Communicating with their fellow students, faculty, and staff helps improve their communication skills. Students can apply these skills to class presentations, job interviews, and when educating the public on important issues. Broadcasting equipment, such as the requested cameras, microphones, and lighting, can be costly, but we find a way to create a professional output using the most basic of materials. We would rather have the tools to give students at least an opportunity to experiment and discover what they are best at, such as director, producer, news anchor, interviewer, camera operator, audio technician, or rigging specialist.
