I love my kindergartners! Each year they are an amazing group, ready to learn, and full of energy. Kindergarten is my favorite age. I see so much growth, love the innocence in their stories and comments, and receive a ton of hugs each day.
Creativity, enthusiastic, and knowledge-seeking explain each kindergarten class.
I just completed my 13th year of teaching and still cry at the end of each year. I am looking forward to meeting my next great group of kids!
Rhythm is the language of the brainstem and can be used to help model behaviors. Using different types of drums in the classroom can help create a calm, inclusive environment for learning. They help students communicate and connect with each other. I want to help use rhythm to recovery for my students to have a safe environment for all of my students to learn.
Within the Amygdala Reset station, I want to include many materials that can calm and help regulate students.
The weighted blanket helps students with anxiety and sensory overload and the trampoline will help students relieve excessive energy to calm.
