My Project
The goal of this project is to create an environment where my students feel safe, excited, and engaged in their learning. Hygiene products will ensure they have a healthy space to work and interact. Books will open up new worlds and fuel their intellectual curiosity. Toys and games will encourage collaborative learning and PBIS and provide a fun, hands-on approach to subjects that may otherwise seem abstract or intimidating.
My students are incredibly diverse in terms of learning needs, backgrounds, and experiences, which makes them resilient, adaptable, and full of potential.
Some may come from challenging home environments, while others may face language or learning barriers, but all share a desire to learn and grow. They thrive when given the right tools and support, and their unique perspectives bring invaluable richness to our classroom community.
By providing these materials, you're helping create an environment where they can not only meet the academic goals we set but also develop the skills and confidence they need to face challenges both in and outside the classroom. Play is an essential part of learning, especially for younger students. Educational toys and games like the legos and blocks will help reinforce key concepts while providing opportunities for hands-on, interactive learning. These items along with gift cards will support PBIS by reinforcing positive behaviors, encouraging goal achievement and promoting equity and inclusivity.
In the classroom, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene is vital for the health and well-being of my students, especially as we navigate a world more aware of health risks. Having the necessary cleaning supplies like wipes, soap and paper towels will help ensure that the space is sanitized regularly, which is particularly important in fostering a safe learning environment.
