Educational Leader Inspired to Learn and Train Others
I need monetary donations to attend this amazing Professional Development opportunity so I can share more about Maker Education with students, staff and even community members!
Over the years, my passions for teaching students and mentoring teachers have multiplied more than I ever could have imagined. Coming to work every day gives me purpose. I love building positive relationships and learning experiences that result in personal growth for others.
I have dedicated my heart and soul to being a continuous learner who supports and models a growth mindset in the students and staff I work with each day.
I am so lucky to have a position where I get to work with every student in the school and support staff across my building as well. I am constantly looking for learning opportunities that will benefit all.
My Project
I had the opportunity to attend the Pathfinders Institute for the first time last summer thanks to a Computer Science grant my district received. This year I am fundraising on my own because it was the best professional learning opportunity I have had in all my years of teaching.
Sharing and training others in my learning is a passion of mine.
I had the opportunity to utilize training from last summer in my school classes, with staff members, and with an after school intramural group. What I learned was just the beginning.
I am excited and intrigued about taking my learning to the next level. With one year under my belt, I am ready for even more challenges and exciting projects that will help me share more learning opportunities in the areas of Science, Math, Computer Science as well as the soft skills needed in careers such as problem-solving, communication, and collaboration. All donations of matched 3X so please consider donating to this trip.
