My Project

I am just a few weeks away from the new school year starting! I am getting very excited about going back to school. This project was fun to make because I was able to think about different materials that would make a great addition to my classroom and also be beneficial to my students. It almost seems like a hodge podge project, but everything in this project will be very useful!

I would love to be able to have these educational kits and games for my students!

The floor puzzles will be used during indoor recess. They will be a fun way for students to use their fine motor skills and abc/counting skills. My students are always super proud when they put the whole puzzle together! The rocks and minerals will be used when I teach physical properties. They will cover a lot of the properties my students learn about (color, size, texture, etc.). The plastic trays will allow my students to sort them based on given properties. The Bananagrams and Zingo games will be used during guided reading. They will be a fun way for my students to work on spelling. The sloths are just a fun component that I wanted to add to the project. I could use them in different ways such as for a classroom management strategy or let my students play with them during indoor recess.
