This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Teaching in a low income junior high classroom often comes with some financial burdens.

I am writing this grant for educational essential items that my students need while learning in my room.

Having pencils, colored pencils, folders and headphones will allow for my students to do basic assignments and activities while in my classroom. Having the mobile podiums allows for me to have small group settings where students can move around the room to collaborate and work together.

Having the snacks and fidgets gives me an opportunity to provide rewards and incentives for work completed, good behavior, attendance, engagement and participation.
