Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These manipulatives will help my student’s immensely. We are a new special education 1st-3rd grade class of ten boys in need of center time manipulatives. Currently we have 4 centers, puzzle building, technology/science, engineering and math/ELA. The students rotate throughout the day to different centers while our classroom aide and myself work with students 1:1 on our daily lessons, etc. Since we are a mixed grade level class this has been our saving grace to ensure we are able to work with each student individually at their level. Since starting rotations, the students have learned important skills such as working together, time management, structure, etc. all while learning academically. They have grown so much and are so happy! I can only imagine that they would be even happier with new and fresh manipulatives to work with. Thank you for considering our special class!
