This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The library at Global Family School just reopened this year. We are a dual-language elementary school in Oakland, California. At lunchtime and recess the kids love to use the board games we have here in the library but many of them are old and missing pieces. I would love to restock the library with entertaining and educational games that will help them with literacy, math, and fine motor skills. I'd also love to organize a weekly games club for the kids that participate in the after school program.
