The students in my classroom are students with autism and intellectual disabilities.
My class is made up of 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders.
They each learn in diverse ways. The students learn academics along with life skills in order to reach their utmost potential. These students struggle with reading, number sense, and communication aside from skills that we take for granted each day. Making a difference in a child's life by having the tools to make learning hands-on and fun .
I am requesting the science equipment that will teach my students the life cycle of chickens. Students will be graphing their observations, writing daily journals, and observing the collection of data. They will be learning how to care for the chicks once they have hatched. Students will make real-life connections while learning.
