My Project
We are now living in a world where technology is necessary to succeed. I want to be able to expose my fourth graders to different methods of technology.
This desktop classroom computer will allow more students to access technology when completing grade-appropriate research or web-based and computer-based projects that are often not attempted due to the limited quantity of computers.
This new desktop will broaden learning opportunities throughout the year. I will also download apps that supplement and reinforce 4th grade skills. Many of these applications require the students to work with another student or in small groups which means students must also be open to listening to their peers and accepting their ideas with respect and understanding.
Having a desktop computer in the classroom will help my students get excited about and engaged in their learning. It will help them have positive attitudes toward school and have the desire to be lifelong learners and technology literate adults.
The best investment we can make for our future is by enabling our current and future citizens. The future depends on what we do in the present. A low investment = a high return! Thank you very much for any and all donations.
