This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Never lose your sense of wonder!

What makes these students so special to my heart is that they are the founding class of my school.

I've watched this group of kids grow from 4 and 5 years olds to being 9 and 10 years this year.

As we come into the 5th year of our school being open, this will be our founding students' last year at our school, so I want to make it a special one that they will remember forever!

My Project

We are going to be exploring coding this year. Kids love video games and I want to them to understand the science behind producing a video game. How all the math and ELA skills that they are learning each and everyday are used to produce the video games and video game systems that they enjoy in their free time. With these video games and accessories, we will be able to explore what it takes to create some of their favorite topics they enjoy discussing with one another. Also, these items will preserve and project the materials so that future classes to come will be able to partake as well!
