Education Even From Far Away!

My Students

Twenty-two of the most imaginative, creative, and fun-loving kindergartners are currently at home due to the closing of our school! My kindergartners are eager to continue their journey through kindergarten, learning and loving along the way! These students were just beginning to learn about the world around them and all that school has to offer. My hope is to continue this journey through distance learning!

My Project

I teach 22 of the best kindergarten students ever! When we left school on March 13, we never imagined that we wouldn't have another day together! We have recently learned that we will not be returning to school.

Kindergarten is such a foundational year for all students.

My kindergarten students were immersed in learning not only educational skills but also much needed social skills! For many of my students, school was their safe place. That safe place has been taken from them, and they don't understand why.

With your help, I am hoping to build online and bring to homes the same safe "classroom community" that all of my students thrived in when we were at school. This laptop will allow me to video lessons that I can then set up for my students to watch. I will also use the laptop to hold live meetings with my students. I'm hoping to ease their fears and strengthen their belief in me, as a teacher, and us, as a community!
