Help me give my students Logitech - keyboards for their I-pads. Scholars use their I-pads on a daily basis and often times it is difficult for them to type on the I-pad screen.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Growing up I had many opportunities when I attended school. I want to be able to provide my scholars with the best opportunities that are out there available to them. My scholars come from a low income neighborhood in the Bronx and they are presented with many challenges. My scholars are always eager to learn and are quite inquisitive! Often times we do not have the resources needed to make the best out of their learning experience. They come from mainly latino and African American families who are happy to receive any support.
I love what I do but what I love even more is the potential every scholar demonstrates they have.
I want to be able to support each and every one of them using any available resources. My scholars are able to come into a safe and nurturing place in which they express themselves and think outside the box! I want them to continue to be able to share ideas with one another and challenge each others' thinking. Even with all the learning going on, we still find the time to have some fun and goof around!
My Project
Working and educating an entire classroom can often be challenging. Within my classroom we have moved towards station teaching using blended learning. This has been extremely successful because it allows me as an educator to personalize the learning for my students. I am able to meet with them in small groups and they are also able to work independently towards a common goal.
I-pads facilitate the learning in the classroom and therefore I want scholars to use them with more ease.
It is often difficult to type on a screen especially if you need the full screen visible to complete the work. Having the keyboards will be beneficial because it will allow them to work and type with more ease. Often times .I ask them to reply to a question I pose on google classroom and if we have the keyboards they can do this with more ease. It is another way to get the college and career ready.
Students will enjoy the ease of typing on the keyboards and this will also allow them to work on their fine motor skills in terms of the typing that they will do. It is crucial to be able to provide this additional piece to the learning occurring in my classroom.
