This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students benefit from extra help in reading and math, as well as excitement in learning from new resources. Retaining math skills and phonics is particularly challenging for them, so there's no better way to keep them engaged and teach them money, division, and multiplication. Chewable necklaces can prevent fidgeting in the classroom caused by students who have sensory anxiety and need to chew on objects in their possession. We use dry erase markers a lot since they dry quickly and are useful for writing and practicing math concepts during group time.
