Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help keep our future leaders well fed so their focus can always be on learning! Oftentimes students are more likely to lose focus, have more social/emotional hiccups, or simply lack energy to complete tasks when they are running on empty. Having a greater access to food day to day can help resolve/lower these concerns.

Sophomores and Juniors alike have one significant commonality - being hangry!

We serve a low-income, 98.5% Black and Hispanic/Latino population at CHS. Let's help make access to snacks not a concern! My students love to learn, engage with others, and grow as people. Please help us accomplish more within these four walls to truly make an impact.
