My Students

Our students are a truly unique group of humans. Not only are they dedicated to their HS studies, they are dually enrolled at our local community college and have the opportunity to graduate HS with an Associates Degree, and several industrial certifications.

These young men and women understand the opportunity that they have been given, and truly want to use it to better themselves, their families, and support their community.

In order to do all of these things, education must be practical, applicable, and engaging.

To fully maximize their hard work, and potential, they should be afforded access to the best technology that can be offered.

My Project

As we fly into the future, we have to make sure that students are prepared to utilize technology in a meaningful way. The addition of an updated iPad will allow them to examine, and innovate, the impact of drones and virtual reality on rural communities.

As we study the technological, geographic and economic barriers to success of our neighbors, students will gain an understanding of how unmanned flight and VR technology can help provide much needed support for physicians, law enforcement, and can provide alternate ways to connect rural residents with the goods and services that can be challenging for our communities.
