Our school is an academically successful, rural high school that is filled to the brim with about 1100 wonderful students. We serve our military community as well, pulling in students whose parents work on military bases. In the state's ranking system, our high-performing high school has been ranked as one of the top ten public high schools in our state for many consecutive years. We have also won accolades in athletics and the arts programs.
We are proud of our success in the classroom and outside of it as well.
This STEM and technology project will provide an annual subscription to Edpuzzle, a video service. The teacher (me) can use this platform to access and post videos with embedded questions for our students. This ensures that students watch the video while being a time saver for the teacher. The program also "grades" the video and alerts students of their progress. There is a free version of this, but it only allows a limited number of videos to be uploaded.
