My Students
Next year, I will be teaching a BRAND NEW classroom for our school. It will be a Digital Innovation Lab which will be strictly Project Based Learning. I am so excited about this new opportunity!
I want all of the students that enter my room to have amazing experiences because they are amazing and exceptional students!
Students that will be in my classroom will be immersed in Project Based Learning one day a week and will leave excited about the next week's project!
My Project
This project covers the cost of registration so I can attend the Council for Economic Education's 58th Annual Financial Literacy & Economic Education Conference. Incorporating personal finance and economic education in our nation's schools is at a pivotal point!
This conference will help me be able to give all of my students the essential tools to create financial stability and opportunity for themselves, their families and their communities.
By attending this conference, I will have access to over 100 workshops where I can learn to integrate personal finance and economics into my class. I will have networking opportunities to meet with other teachers and learn how they’re tackling the challenges of economic and financial literacy education for elementary students. I'll be able to attend conference sessions and workshops to provide me with strategies that will help me incorporate economics and financial literacy into my class. I'll gain valuable perspectives from guest speakers.
The benefits of attending this conference are immeasurable. I look forward to bringing the information back and leading a professional development for the teachers in my building!
