Our students have a high level of curiosity, and their energy is abundant. These children are from diverse backgrounds and households, and many have a unique set of needs and challenges to overcome. We have a high population of at-risk students: socially, emotionally, and academically. However, there is also a high desire to be cooperative, respectful, and successful students.
Our students' potential is limitless, and I see future artists, economists, engineers, computer scientists, chefs, and teachers.
These young scholars have awesome determination. The academic growth that many are experiencing is remarkable because they have the ability and desire to acquire and apply the skills necessary to be successful.
Let's Find Out! Community Economics Series will add to our classroom in two valuable ways. First, it is an excellent resource to teach students about challenging economic concepts like supply and demand and jobs and earnings. Secondly, it will support my efforts to integrate technology into my daily lessons by having my students learn about their community from this set of e-books.
The eight e-book titles in this series explains the importance of financial responsibility and the role that the economy plays in our daily lives.
My students will benefit from the engaging technology integration and the vibrant images and helpful diagrams that the Let's Find Out! e-books provide.
