This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

At OWH, many of my students are growing and learning at different paces. I work with many students with learning disabilities and feel that they get a bit distracted when their needs aren't met. We have water stations throughout the building but many of my students do not have BPA refillable water bottles.

My goal for all my OWH classrooms is to have students well-hydrated and prepared to learn!

Sometimes we forget how important it is to drink water throughout the day. It can help to stay focused longer, and allow students to be healthy and happy. This is an absolute necessity, especially for many of my students who are living in temporary housing this would be so helpful.
